Salley Mavor: Bedtime Stitches

Salley Mavor: Bedtime Stitches, an exhibition of 18 new sculptural embroidery artworks by award-winning artist Salley Mavor, is on view at the Cahoon Museum of American Art.

The artwork by Salley Mavor in the exhibition illustrates the children’s book, My Bed: Enchanting Ways to Fall Asleep Around the World, published by Houghton Mifflin Harcourt this September. The show kicks off a two year nationwide tour and will be on view at the Cahoon Museum from September 11 – December 22, 2020.
Along with the illustrations, additional artworks by Ms. Mavor will be on view, including two fairy houses, many of her “felt wee folk,” her well-known Polly Doll, as well as
