Introduction to Aran Knitting with Kirsten West

Students will learn to knit a scarf with a variety of basic pattern elements.

Presented by the Cultural Center of Cape Cod on four Fridays, beginning May 3, from 1-3 pm.

There are a rich variety of stitches that make up Aran Knitting. Students will learn to knit a scarf with a variety of basic pattern elements including Irish Moss Stitch, Staghorn Cable, Corn Stitch Cable, Waving Cables, and Moss Stitch Diamonds. Your finished scarf will be textural, cozy, and handmade by you! Open to all levels. There is a great deal of one-on-one as needed in this class.

PARKING INFO

The Center's main parking lot is at the rear of the campus off Union Street, with overflow parking in the town lot on the corner of Old Main and Union Street or down Mill Street. The accessible parking spaces are near the accessible ramp entrance at the rear of the campus.
