
ISEA will co-host INNOVATIONS 2023, its 32nd annual international open juried exhibition, partnering with the Cultural Center of Cape Cod. The exhibition will run from September 12 to October 7, 2023. ISEA offers over $14,000 USD in awards.
Entry for this exhibition will begin April 1 to 30, 2023 through www.cafeforentry.org.
ISEA offers over $14,000 USD in awards for outstanding submitted works! ISEA produces a beautiful full color catalog of each INNOVATIONS exhibition. All ISEA members and all non-member artists accepted into the exhibition will receive a copy of the catalog.
Our educational symposium, held in conjunction with this exhibition, will also be held at the Cultural Center of Cape Cod, September 18 through 22,

Within the submission process, a written statement about "why this piece of art was experimental for you" is required. These statements are used to further ISEA aims of educating the public about the nature of experimental art, and enhancing how experimental artists are valued in their communities. (1000 characters or less.) It is best if this is written up on a document in advance so you can edit it and copy and paste into your entry.
Cost is $55 for non ISEA members, $30.00 for members using the membership code during the payment process

ISEA invites all artists and collaborative groups of artists, 18 years of age and older, to submit one work of art created in the past three years to this call. The submission deadline is April 30, 2023. All media are welcome. ISEA focuses on experimentation and exploration in the visual arts. All artists are asked to submit a short (1000 characters or less) statement of how the submitted work was experimental in the context of their artistic practice.

"Invitations to Participate" sent: May 15, 2023
Shipping work to venue: September 1 through 8, 2023
Digital artworks created in real-time by computerized or electronic components must arrive at the gallery between September 1and 8, 2023.
Hand deliveries accepted at venue: September 10th, 8am to noon
Exhibition awards determined: September 11, 2023
Public reception: September 18, 2023
Awards presented: September 22, 2023 at the symposium
