International Society of Experimental Artists, Inc.

The International Society of Experimental Artists (ISEA), a global organization, was founded in 1991 to offer artists a society that celebrates the creation of art through innovation and experimentation.

Every year ISEA has two member-only virtual exhibitions and one annual open juried exhibition (INNOVATIONS) held in a gallery space with up to 90 pieces of art being shown by up to 90 artists. This year ISEA is partnering with the Cultural Center of Cape Cod for the INNOVATIONS 2023 exhibition and our week long educational symposium. The exhibition is an open entry for any artist to apply through CaFÉ. The jurying process for acceptance into the exhibition is done online and the award jurying will be conducted at the Cultural Center of Cape Cod.  INNOVATIONS 2023 offers 22 awards at approximately $14,000 and will be on exhibit at center September 12 through October 7th.  The symposium, also at the center, will be held September 18th through 22nd.  It will include workshops, demos, speakers, wellness classes, and an immersion into art for all who attend.

ISEA ‘s Mission is to enthusiastically embrace creative thinking, imagination and experimentation.  ISEA’s mission is to promote public interest in experimental art, and encourage and support artists’ creative journeys through exhibition, education and communication.
