Captain Bangs Hallet House Museum at 11 Strawberry Lane, Yarmouth Port, is fully furnished and contains artifacts of the 19th century seafaring captains. Tours every Friday- Sunday, 1 -4 p.m.

Captain Bangs Hallet House, Yarmouth Port, opens for seasonal tours July 1, 1-4 p.m. through Sunday, July 3 and open until Oct. 9.

Bangs Hallet Museum reopens

The Captain Bangs Hallet House in Yarmouth Port is reopening for tours on July 1. The 19th century Victorian home at 11 Strawberry Lane, is the only fully furnished captain’s house on Cape Cod that is open for tours.

The house holds silk, porcelain and marine artifacts from Yarmouth sea captains’ Far East seafaring days as well as an 18th century kitchen. A special exhibit this year features baby and children’s period clothing.
