My partner Kimberly Sheerin and I make up The Barn Pottery, a studio, teaching space and gallery at 359 Barlows Landing Road in Pocasset. We make high-fired, functional pottery for the home. Our work is fired here in our gas kiln or in friends’ wood-fueled kilns. Our gallery is open every day, year-round.
Each of us has worked in clay for more than 25 years.
In addition, Kimberly teaches both adults and children in our studio. Both of us also teach at the Falmouth Art Center.

My work is influenced by my admiration for simple country pottery from Japan, Korea, England and elsewhere. I try to make "good pots for good food," as one of my longtime teachers has said.
