Karri Allrich
Visual Arts: Painting, Works on Paper
Inspired by the coastal beauty of Cape Cod and Connecticut, Karri Allrich is an expressive New England artist painting evocative landscapes, seascapes, and nature-inspired abstracts on canvas, panels, and paper.
She is a Fine Arts graduate of the Corcoran School of Art in Washington DC, where she majored in studio painting and photography. Her eclectic artistic influences include Wolf Kahn, Fairfield Porter, Forrest Moses, and Helen Frankenthaler.
After living on Cape for decades, and later exploring Santa Fe, Southern California, Oregon and Texas, she now creates in the quiet woods and wilds of Northeast Connecticut. She frequently visits favorite hiking and painting spots on Cape Cod, finding inspiration and creative renewal here in all four seasons.
