Carolyn Ravenscroft, historian and archivist, will present her findings on women's involvement in the maritime culture of Duxbury, MA.

A historical lecture on women in Duxbury during the maritime period of 18th and 19th centuries will be a free virtual event on Jan. 23 at 2 p.m. sponsored by the Historical Society of Old Yarmouth.

Women’s roles in sea voyages and the booming shipbuilding community of Duxbury, Mass., in the late 18th and early 19th centuries will be presented at a live virtual lecture Jan. 23 at 2 p.m. by the Historical Society of Old Yarmouth.
