Students ages 10-14 will learn about the process of painting on silk and how to cut and sew a basic piece of clothing out of the silk they've just painted. Students will have the opportunity to model their garment at the Silk Art Fashion Show, which will be held in July 2015. Instructor Cassia Maia has 29 years of experience in silk painting. The Center's main parking lot is at the rear of the campus off Union Street, with overflow parking in the town lot on the corner of Old Main and Union Street or down Mill Street. The accessible parking spaces are near the accessible ramp entrance at the rear of the campus.
