“Girl Singer” A Jazz Concert by Fred & Leslie Boyle with Readings by Author Mick Carlon 

Presented by the Cultural Center of Cape Cod on Sunday, December 4, at 3pm. A perfect pairing of excerpts from Cape Cod author Mick Carlon’s book Girl Singer and music of the period by singer Leslie Boyle with Fred Boyle on piano, Alan Clinger on guitar, Ron Ormsby on bass and Bart Weisman on drums playing music of the of the period with a book signing following the concert. Carlon, a retired educator who taught at Barnstable High School and Barnstable Intermediate School, is also the author of the novels Riding on Duke’s Train and Travels With Louis (Leapfrog Press).
