Expressive Ceramic Sculpture, with Joan Zagrobelny 

Presented by the Cultural Center of Cape Cod on eight Tuesdays, beginning October 10 from 1-3:30pm. Ready to explore how creatively expressive you can be with clay? This hand-building class is for you! Using simple pinch and coil methods and working at the pace that’s most comfortable for you, this class will support you in building simple abstract, sculptural forms out of coiled clay. The course will cover: making a stable base, joining the coils, balance, building the form, and surface treatment/glazing. There will be plenty of demonstrations and individual instruction throughout. This course is designed as a playful and creative process, suitable for all levels of experience– wheel throwers and hand-builders alike!
