Two classes - 2/19 and 2/23
African drumming brings people together in joy! In this class, we will practice playing the djembe and djun djun drums of Mali, West Africa, as well as explore many other African instruments. Kids will strengthen their ability to hold a rhythm over time, play in an ensemble, as well as practice hand drumming techniques. The Center's main parking lot is at the rear of the campus off Union Street, with overflow parking in the town lot on the corner of Old Main and Union Street or down Mill Street. The accessible parking spaces are near the accessible ramp entrance at the rear of the campus.
