Each participant will take home their own printer, providing the opportunity to integrate digital technologies into their studio practice and curricula. $500 Materials Fee (included in tuition) covers all parts for personal 3D printer.
Open to all levels of ceramics; Intermediate understanding of digital software is required, but digital 3d modeling experience is not required. We will focus on the use of simple, free, and open source software.
Originally from Ohio, Bryan earned his MFA from San Diego State University and has shown his work, taught workshops, and been Artist-in-Residence throughout the United States and internationally, including the Houston Center for Contemporary Craft, The Center for Craft, Creativity & Design, the Nelson Atkins Museum, Greenwich House Pottery, The Clay Studio in Philadelphia, c.r.e.t.a. Rome, and Watershed Center for Ceramic Arts. He currently teaches at SUNY New Paltz.
