Free Fiction Writing Class at Sturgis Library

Wednesdays From March 7th-May 9th. 6 to 7PM. Registration Required. Ages 16-99

Funded by a generous grant from the Arts Foundation of Cape Cod, Sturgis Library will be hosting an intro to fiction writing class every Wednesday night from March 7th through May 9th, 6 to 7 PM. Classes will cover character creation, plotting, genre, language, grounding readers, regionalism, setting, editing, and publication. In addition to workshops, visiting authors will give readings from their work. The first of these will be Paul Tremblay, winner of the British Fantasy Award, on April 4th starting at 7. Preregistration is required. Limited openings.
