Samuel Tager, assistant director and senior designer of Harvard Museums of Science and Culture will take us inside Harvard’s Peabody Museum, home to one of the world’s oldest, largest and finest collections of American anthropology.
Founded in 1866, the Peabody Museum is devoted to anthropology with a focus in the Americas. Tager will guide you through the Museum’s storied history during a slide presentation and talk. You will learn how he helped reimagine and redesign the fourth floor gallery that currently houses their 150th anniversary exhibition - All the World Is Here: Harvard’s Peabody Museum and the Invention of American Anthropology.
