Michele Carrozo

Raised by an old world book binder, I matured with a value for high craftsmanship, and a passion for beauty. My father offered me an environ that took me to Europe annually, inspiring my work.

After residing and painting in Portugal for over eleven years, I returned stateside to enjoy my studio in East Harwich. Although I enjoy portraiture, my venue includes land and seascapes. Recently I have turned to painting on wood and find its surface supremely superior to linen canvas.

My training began at the Roslyn School of Painting, continued at the Arts Students League, and experienced art courses within a Bachelors of Arts degree. I offer private oil painting lessons at my studio for students at all levels.
