We the People… A National Juried Exhibition

We the People..begins the Preamble of the U.S. Constitution, which states the fundamental purpose and guiding principles of our Constitution in the eyes of our founding fathers. The CCMOA issued a call to artists asking what these words mean to them.
The Cape Cod Museum of Art received an
astonishing 362 submissions from visual artists residing in twenty-seven states across the
country, along with a submission from China. The exhibition, which includes fifty pieces of art,
opens Thursday, March 28 and will be on view through June 9.
“We were both surprised and thrilled with the response from the art world,” said Benton Jones,
Acting Executive Director of the Cape Cod Museum of Art. “The breadth of work, both in
mediums and messages,
General Admission is $10,
$8 for seniors;
$7 students with ID,
$7 for youth 13 to 18, and free for children 12 & under!

The exhibition runs from March 28 through June 9 with a complimentary Opening Reception on April 12 from 5:30-7 PM. All are invited to attend.
