A special Saturday date for a walk – July 22
Guided, accessible walks for the general public in the village of Hyannis using the visual images and symbols used in public works of art and historic sites to learn of our diverse history. Over the course of the one-mile walk, we discover stories of immigration, the role of women in history, the Bill of Rights today, the Native American story, our environment, the local economy, and many aspects of social identity. The walk is a way to learn and help us navigate current social justice issues.

Researched and curated by Margaret (Peggy) Jablonski, Ph.D. an inspiring, accomplished leader with twenty-five years of experience as a senior executive in education.
The walk begins at 10:00 a.m. from the JFK Hyannis Museum and lasts for one hour and fifteen minutes, with shade and rest stops along the way. Average fitness required, walking at moderate pace and on some uneven ground. Walks accommodate up to 30 people.
