South of France Dinner and Presentation with Chef Joe Cizynski and Susan Overstreet 

Presented by the Cultural Center of Cape Cod on Tuesday, April 9, from 6-8pm.

We will have a classic dinner from the south of France!! We will start with Pistou soup, Salad Nicoise, roast Poussin (baby chicken) stuffed with foie gras and figs with ratatouille and finish with a Muscat Beaumes des Venise and virgin olive oil cake with macerated fruits. Complimentary French bubbles will be poured. This is a BYOB event so bring in all those delicious wines from Provence!

Dinner includes a south of France artists presentation by Susan Overstreet. Artists began to flock to the South of France during the late nineteenth century to enjoy the freedom, light, and ambiance of the beautiful Mediterranean climate and environment. Susan will present a historical and visual account of artists who found inspiration and often chose to live in this paradise including Cezanne, Van Gogh, Renoir, Picasso, and Matisse, among others.
