From 10:00-3:00, enjoy gallery talks with our staff and learn about some of the items sailors aboard whaling ships made using the teeth of sperm whales. Get a close-up look at some of the pieces from the museum’s preeminent Elizabeth H. and William Graham Scrimshaw Collection. Hear how scrimshaw was made, and learn about life on a whaling ship.
