New Paintings by Pia Cristina Mackenzie

Pia has been a working and exhibiting artist on Cape Cod and New England for over 40 years.  Her experiences as a world traveler and academic has infused her paintings and collages with a rich tapestry of imagery, symbolism, colors, and textures.  Her process begins with small mixed media collages from which she paints full scale oil and acrylic canvases.  The Tanzer Gallery exhibition will feature several new paintings and the collages that inspired them.
