What would Michelangelo eat? Dine with Chef Joe and find out. Using Michelangelo’s shopping list as a guide, Chef Joe prepares a dinner using these ingredients.
Monday, March 2, from 6-8pm. Michelangelo was born March 6, 1475, in the small village of Caprese, Italy. According to Michelangelo's shopping list, genius thrives on a diet of fish, bread, and lots of wine. He wrote this list on the back of a letter (now owned by the Casa Buonarroti museum in Florence, Italy) and then illustrated it so his presumably illiterate servant could obtain the ingredients. The Center's main parking lot is at the rear of the campus off Union Street, with overflow parking in the town lot on the corner of Old Main and Union Street or down Mill Street. The accessible parking spaces are near the accessible ramp entrance at the rear of the campus.
