States of Change: AMERICANA REVISITED
Kenneth Hawkey brings a new, themed body of work to light this season at Larkin Gallery, with a focus on the state of Americana today: historic, local, illuminating and nostalgic. Hawkey’s realistic approach marries a deep respect for history and architecture with a transcendent and nearly tactile human experience evoking memory and imagination. Hawkey’s work hangs in collections in the US, Europe, Canada and the United Kingdom. Opening: 7pm Friday August 17.
