This class will provide instruction on using the wood lathe, lathe safety, turning tools, project design, and turning your own wood creations.
Presented by the Cultural Center of Cape Cod on May 4, 11, and 18, from 10am-1pm.
Have you ever seen turned items, such as bowls, candle sticks, ornaments, and pens, and wanted to create your own designs? This class will provide instruction on using the wood lathe, lathe safety, turning tools, project design, and turning your own wood creations. Upon completion you will have the knowledge and confidence to begin exploring other shapes and creations. $179/$161 for members.

The Center's main parking lot is at the rear of the campus off Union Street, with overflow parking in the town lot on the corner of Old Main and Union Street or down Mill Street. The accessible parking spaces are near the accessible ramp entrance at the rear of the campus.
