Captain Bangs Hallet House Museum Exhibit

Hundreds of artifacts of the prehistoric and historic residents of Yarmouth, all found in Yarmouth, are on display through Oct. 11, Artifacts include carved stones from the Stone Age, 10,000 to 12,000 years ago, pottery 2,000 to 3,000 years old, and exotic stones and glass beads from European traders. The Cape’s only furnished 19th century sea captains’ home includes an 18th century colonial kitchen, a large collection of maritime and Far East memorabilia. It is open for regular for docent led tours Friday to Sunday, 1-4 p.m.
