The Cape Cod Museum of Natural History in Brewster presents their popular series Lunch ‘n Learn. On Tuesday, June 25, 2019 at 11:30am join Cape Cod naturalist, Phil Kyle for his program Why Birds Sing.
The song of birds can be soothing and inspiring to us humans, but birds sing for more than just the beauty of it. Birds use song, call notes and behavior to communicate with each other. They also use sound and action to scare off predators or warn other birds about danger, to defend territory or to attract a mate during breeding season.
