Woods Hole Jazz Presents Toni Lynn Washington and the Frank Wilkins Quartet

There’s a reason they call her “Boston’s Queen of the Blues”. Jazz, soul and gospel vocalist Toni Lynn Washington has been thrilling audiences for over four decades. She’s garnered seven W.C. Handy Blues Award nominations and was awarded the Boston Blues Festival Lifetime Achievement Award. Backing up Toni Lynn is the Frank Wilkins Quartet featuring top Boston jazz players Frank Wilkins (piano), Billy Thompson (sax), Dave Zox (bass) and Royal Hartigan (percussion). Last time she visited Falmouth the band garnered a standing ovation from a packed crowd. The concert is part of the Woods Hole Jazz fall series and takes place in historic Woods Hole Community Hall.
