DECADES BEFORE BORDEN: THE FALL RIVER SCANDAL. A Greg Williams True Crime Presentation

Join us at Sturgis Library on May 8th at 6:30 PM for FREE a Greg Williams True Crime presentation on “DECADES BEFORE BORDEN: THE FALL RIVER SCANDAL OF THE “BAD” MILL GIRL AND THE MINISTER”

Decades before the Borden case, Fall River millworker Sarah Cornell was found dead. Suicide? Or murder? Her death obsessed the town, and pit its mill owners against the Methodist hierarchy, which backed the suspect: its minister. Public outrage, victim blaming, and even forensic knot-tying. Did the Reverend get away with murder?

Greg Williams will present an interactive talk about the first notable Fall River murder, occurring nearly 10 years before the Lizzie Borden Scandal.
