Wordplay: Writing Poetry for Children, with Mary E. Cronin

In honor of National Poetry Month, dive into the world of children’s poetry with educator and poet Mary E. Cronin. In this 90-minute class, you will be inspired by the work of established children’s poets, learn about various poetic forms that appeal to young readers, and engage in joyful and thoughtful wordplay via poetry prompts. Perfect for teachers, parents, grandparents… or anyone who wants to share the joy of poetry with children. Please bring a notebook and writing utensil or laptop.
