The Power of the Palette Knife, with Susan Overstreet 

Presented by the Cultural Center of Cape Cod on four Thursdays, beginning September 7, from 2:30-5pm. This course will explore the technique of palette knife painting and its attributes: quick coverage, clear color, sharp edges, and lines, and easy clean up! Various sizes and shapes of palette knives will be used, and each class will start with a demonstration of palette knife technique. Students will bring their own references, studies, and photos as subject matter. Prompts will be given to explore color, composition, and individual mark making.  Both oil and acrylic painters are welcome, all levels. $160/$140 for members.  Register at www.cultural-center.org or call 508-394-7100.
