STREET PHOTOGRAPHY WITH DAVE MULLEN

Street photography is more popular than ever now that everyone has access to a high-quality camera, whether the mobile device in their pocket or the big black camera in their camera bag. In this class we’ll explore the genre of street photography through its history, techniques, equipment, and ethical considerations. Cape Cod provides a unique setting for street photography, so we’ll look at shooting not only in towns, but at beaches, festivals, and other events as well.  Participants will produce images as they explore different aspects of street photography and generate a final body of work showing their unique vision.

Materials Needed:  dSLR, Mirrorless, or cellphone camera are all fine. Optional for homework: A working knowledge of post-processing software (Photoshop, Lightroom, Snapseed, other) which will be demonstrated in class.
