Special Exhibit and Artist Talk: Ed Branson - A Lifetime with Glass

The Sandwich Glass Museum is proud to host a retrospective of glass artist Ed Branson of Ashfield, MA. He is one of the most influential contemporary artists of all time and while most of his inspiration is derived from nature, he has also drawn inspiration from historic Sandwich Glass on a visit to the Sandwich Glass museum early on in his glass making career. When Branson announced his imminent retirement, the museum recognized the unique opportunity and special responsibility to collaborate with Branson and share his story with glass.

The exhibit runs from April 5th to June 11th.

There will be a Public Reception and Artist’s Talk 5-7pm, Saturday April 22nd. The talk beings at 5:30 pm. Free Admission
