Senior Chair Yoga Monday Mornings
Do not think that this is a boring, simplified, or incomplete yoga practice. Not at all!
The hatha yoga practice on chairs allows seniors and people with reduced mobility to go much deeper in poses and breathing exercises than they would be able to go on a yoga mat. It offers access to all the benefits of a traditional hatha yoga practice, with comfort and safety. Developing mobility and strength in a sequence of poses and movements, focusing especially on breath, balance, and flexibility, to maintain and increase vitality. Open to all levels.
