Other Worlds: Landscape Paintings by Dunya McPherson

What’s around the bend, hidden over there? All her life, Dunya McPherson has been drawn to this sense of things. Absorbing more deeply into the topic of landscapes, she discovers an infinity of worlds within worlds. This collection of paintings will be exhibited in the Sigel Gallery at the Falmouth Art Center Feb 1 – 28.

Dunya is a New York Times acclaimed National Endowment for the Arts choreographer/dancer, academic educator, internationally sought meditation authority living and creating in Woods Hole. Author of two books on Sufi mysticism, seeker, tea drinker, and painter. As a practicing, professional artist in a number of forms, Dunya’s works are influenced contemporary impressionists such as Mitchell Albala, Cecilia Kirby Binkley, Kevin Macpherson, Lee McCleod among many others.
