Learning Through Contemporary Artists, For KIDS! Free Workshop

Looking for something fun for the kids during February break? In this workshop participants will learn about contemporary artists including Nathaniel Mary Quinn, Nick Cave, Katharina Grosee, and Jeffrey Gibson, while creating their own works of art

Tuesday: Self Portraits with a Twist 
Focus Artist: Nathaniel Mary Quinn 
Supplies needed: old magazines, newspapers, construction paper, scissors, glue sticks, markers/crayons/colored pencils

Wednesday: Making Mini-Sound Suits
Focus Artist: Nick Cave
Supplies needed: – sculpey/play-doh
Thursday: Explode with Color!
Focus Artist: Katharina Grosse
Supplies needed: colored pencils/markers/crayons, construction paper, an old cardboard box, glue sticks, scissors, magazines/newspapers to collage
