For the month of January 2015, the Brewster Ladies’ Library is pleased to present an art exhibition by students of the Latham School! The public is invited to a reception on Thursday, January 22 from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. The show will highlight an eclectic assortment of mixed media art including paintings and hand-painted, decorated furniture from the Latham Works program. Latham Works is the newest vocational program for students at Latham Centers giving individual’s creative license to produce and sell a variety of items ranging from All-Natural Goat’s Milk Soap to holiday ornaments and hand-painted and decorated furniture.
Founded in 1970, Latham Centers compassionately and creatively helps children and adults with complex special needs, including Prader-Willi Syndrome, to lead meaningful, abundant lives.
