Cost: $225/$275 WORKSHOP DESCRIPTION Discover how to take and use photos as a “jumping off point” for more expressive paintings! The “One Hour Painting “ approach will be covered as we learn how to manipulate photos in order to tell a story in a simple, organized way. Through demos, exercises and critiques, we will “translate” a subject from a photo onto a canvas without merely copying it. The results are exciting, spontaneous and intuitive paintings! I will supply some photos, and will email everyone ahead of time with instructions for what kind of images to take on your own. I will be using oils however acrylics will work.
