The Cape is home to a vibrant scientific community conducting meaningful environmental work with potentially wide impact. We are pleased to invite them to share their work with us.
Tonight, we hear from Diana Ruiz, PhD, of the Native Land Conservancy (NLC). Founded in 2012 in Mashpee, the NLC is the first Native-run land conservation group east of the Mississippi. The NLC believes that all land is sacred and worthy of special care. Diana will present on the NLC’s unique approach to protecting and restoring land for all living beings.
