Cape Cod String Quartet - Christmas Around the World Third Annual Concert

The Cape Cod String Quartet, featuring the exceptional talents of violinists Dan Flonta and Meghan O’Connor, cellist Nancy Torrente, and violist Sofia Nikas, invites music enthusiasts to embark on a global musical journey at their third “Christmas Around the World” Annual Concert. The concert will also feature the talents of Maury Castro on piano and organ, and soprano Joan Kirchner.

The quartet and its guests will enchant audiences with a diverse selection of compositions from renowned composers representing Italy, England, France, and other captivating corners of the world. The program will feature masterpieces by Antonio Vivaldi, Giovanni Sgambati, and Arcangelo Corelli, capturing the essence of Italy’s rich musical heritage. The musicians will then transport the audience to the heart of England with compositions by Harold Darke, Noel Rawsthorne, and Gustav Holst. The international odyssey continues with Adolphe Adam’s enchanting pieces from France and other breathtaking stops around the globe.
