A two person show featuring the work of Heather Pilchard and Ariel Freiberg –

Pilchard hopes to convey her deep awe and respect for nature through her paintings, which she sees as meditations on the natural world.

Freiberg says:

“My process begins with cutting images from the mass media, ripping them into pieces, and then reassembling them into a new visual arrangement,”

“Once a collage is completed, I do a painting of it, paying particular attention to the ripped edges in the context of space and color.”
