7th Annual Kentucky Derby Gala

We’ll have live betting games, a hat parade and contest, entertainment, surprise events and of course, mint juleps! The race will be broadcast live on our high definition 26 foot movie screen, so plan to join us and cheer your horse and jockey.

This event will sell out, so please pre-order your tickets in advance to ensure that you get into the hottest Kentucky Derby party on the Cape!

Admission is $30 for members, $40 for non-members.

We will have raffles, games, and a silent auction, with the house taking 50% on everything (It is a fundraiser, after all!) and with opportunities to win some serious cash!

Winning Opportunities

There will be two raffles ($5 and $10). Participants will buy a sealed envelope with the name of a Derby horse inside. After the race, those with winning envelopes will share 50 percent of the total bet for that raffle.

Take a chance on the First-Second-Third pool for $5. Half of each of the three winning pools will be split among the winners.

In the Horse Auction, each of the Derby horses will be “auctioned off” in a silent auction. The high bidder on the winning horse takes home half the total bet.

Don’t worry, we’ll have lots of representatives to explain all the rules and odds at the event!
