West Falmouth Library 2022 Art Show and Sale - Call for Artists

We are happy to announce that the West Falmouth Library Art Show will run from Saturday, July 23rd until Friday, August 5th this summer. Please see that there are a few changes this year. Due to the growing number of artists participating, we are going to reduce the number of submissions of framed pieces from 2 to 1. As soon as an artwork sells, we will contact the artist right away so that he/she can submit a replacement. Please take note of the following dates and changes for this year.

Art Drop Off: Wednesday, July 20th between 1pm and 5pm. If this time does not work for you please contact Suzy Bergmann at suzybergmannwfl@gmail.com to make other arrangements.

Art Pick up: Friday, August 5th between 1pm and 5pm. Again, if this does not work for you, please contact Suzy.

Opening reception is Friday, July 22nd 5pm-6:30pm.

1 piece of framed art per person. Up to 5 pieces of unframed art.

Submission form can be downloaded from the website, should be completed and mailed or dropped off at the Library along with payment as soon as possible (if downloaded, we need 3 copies for each piece). Be sure to fill out all three pieces of the submission form for your piece of art. This is greatly appreciated as it expedites the processing and preparation of the show. Mailing address is P.O. Submission fee is $10.00 per framed piece and $5.00 per unframed piece.

Artists will be informed when their art sells so that it can be replaced with no fee.

Artist commission is 60% with 40% supporting the West Falmouth Library.

As always, the Art Show needs volunteers for a half-day to manage the sales. Please let us know on what morning or afternoon you can help. It does take a village. Thank you!
