Join us as we discuss the fascinating story of one woman’s attempt to finish the Iditarod trail. This captivating memoir recounts the tale of Debbie Clarke Moderow’s journey with her spunky team of huskies when, less than two hundred miles from the finish line, her dogs refuse to go on. While not completing the race was a serious blow to Moderow, losing her connection with her dogs was an even worse one. Fast into the Night is the story of how Moderow and her team were able to reconnect with each other and overcome some rough obstacles along the Iditarod trail. It is a wonderful tale on the relationship between humans and dogs, and the ability of the human spirit to persevere in the face of difficult times.
