Plein Air Painting The Spring

Plein Air Painting The Spring

Presented by Truro Center for the Arts at Castle Hill at Truro Center for the Arts

As the landscape begins to awaken in spring, a whole new range of colors emerge. In this landscape painting course we will work outdoors and in the studio to create paintings that capture the changing season. An emphasis will be placed on color theory, composition, and developing images at a variety of speeds. Group discussions will focus on artwork created during the class. Slide shows featuring landscape paintings, created both locally and further afield, will serve as our inspiration and guide.

This class is suitable for painters of all levels.
