Discover the why and how, step by step, and fall in love with watercolor.  We’ll start exploring all the basic equipment, drawing, paint and paper, glazes and washes, and what’s makes watercolor such a unique and vibrant medium.

Tim Saternow, AWS, is an American watercolor painter who explores the urban landscape.   His work has been exhibited throughout world, and has appeared in Watercolor Artist, The Art of Watercolor Magazine, American Artist Water Color Magazine; and the book, Splash: 12, 13, 18 & 20: The Best of Watercolor. As a teacher, Saternow taught at the Art Students League, FIT—Fashion institute of Technology, NYC, the University of Connecticut, and Carnegie-Mellon University.  He has also taught numerous painting, drawing, linear perspective workshops, and master classes in watercolor throughout New York City and across the country. Saternow received his MFA from the Yale School of Drama, and is a Signature Member of the American Watercolor Society and also a Board Member of The American Watercolor Society. Saternow is currently represented by the Kobalt Gallery, Provincetown, Mass.
