The Historical Society of Old Yarmouth will host historic walking tours of Yarmouth Port and South Yarmouth this summer. The Yarmouth Port tours will be on Thursdays, June 28, July 26 and Aug. 30 at 1 p.m. The South Yarmouth tours will be Aug. 11 at 11 a.m. and 1:30 p.m.

Brian Sheehy will lead the Yarmouth Port tour and relate histories of sites along Old King’s Highway (Route 6A). Visitors also may choose either the Capt. Bangs Hallet House Museum or the Winslow Crocker House. Allow two and a half hours.

Judy LeGrand and Bob Kelley will lead a tour of the former Indian Town and Quaker Village areas of South Yarmouth along Old Main Street and Bass River. Costumed characters who lived there in the 18^th and 19^th centuries will tell their stories at various sites. Allow one and a half hours. Rain date Aug. 19.
