Photographing Whales

Presented by Truro Center for the Arts at Castle Hill at Truro Center for the Arts

More than thirteen species of cetaceans (whales, dolphins and porpoises) are found in Cape waters. In this one-day workshop, participants will learn about behaviors of local whales, and techniques for capturing intimate and active portraits of these majestic animals.  Following a morning introductory lecture, participants will go on a whale watch aboard the Dolphin Fleet, the originator of East Coast whale watching.  The workshop includes a water-based whale watch in all conditions.
