We all have a story to tell. Writing a memoir is an opportunity to share your story in a way that is compelling, with energy, light and depth to make readers care.
Whether you are just beginning to write your story, or are already well on your way in the process, this workshop will help to enrich key skills of telling the story and structuring a book. We will explore published memoirs and your own writing to illustrate and understand techniques of reflection, dialogue, scene, and the use of time. The publication process will also be described and discussed.
Participants are invited to bring a work in progress to class if they would like to receive individualized feedback from the instructor.
