Thanks to a generous grant from the Arts Foundation of Cape Cod, this workshop is offered at a subsidized price of $40.
Materials Fee of $10 to be given directly to Paul on the day of the workshop.

In this hands-on workshop, you will learn how to use sponge stamps to decorate pottery at the leather-hard and bisque stages.  You will learn and practice how to use the stamps with glazes, slips, underglazes and wax resist. Laser cut sponge stamps will be provided for you to work with during the workshop and will also be available for purchase.  If weather permits, you will learn how to design and make your own sponge stamps using a soldering iron and scissors, as this is best done outdoors. Participants should bring 3-5 pieces of bisque-fired pottery to work with during the workshop.  Basic glazing and decorating skills recommended.
