Roots rock, Americana and blues meets award winning songwriting in the fun, queer-inclusive songs of Out Late’s Diana Di Gioia. The band is partnering with Helping Our Women and The Arts Foundation of Cape Cod for this free afternoon concert.
Out Late’s Diana Di Gioia’s original songs combine word nerd lyrics with rock n roll energy, with influences from 60’s and 70’s power pop to songwriting masters like Lucinda Williams, John Prine and Bonnie Raitt. The Cape Cod Times describes her songs as “finely honed narratives with telling details”, and Payomet Center for the Arts says “Diana and her band bring youthful energy, exuberant sound and fun storytelling to her original body of songs”. There is no cover charge, but free will donations to Helping Our Women (HOW) will be accepted. HOW is a non profit resource center for women living with chronic or life threatening conditions.. They serve the Outer Cape community from Provincetown to Eastham. Funding for this performance comes through a grant from the Arts Foundation of Cape Cod.
